New Atlanta resort offers affordable family focused staycation experience

One Place ATL is slated to be Georgia’s premiere getaway destination!

(Atlanta,GA) — One Place Atlanta is an all new resort birthed from the aftermath of the the Covid pandemic. With travel and the absence of family and friends being the top two things Americans missed most during 2020, founders Mark and Sabrina Adams realized a need to revolutionize the opportunity to enjoy quality time spent with family and friends. The brother and sister duo are Atlanta transplants, originally from New York and believe their close knit family dynamic was the foundation for their individual and collective success. “Our family is huge and our family reunions were legendary,” Mark Adams says. “The reunions were a constant reminder that you were a part of something bigger. There was an underlying sense of collective love and as a young man, it held me accountable because I knew my actions whether good or bad would affect more than just me and my immediate family. Covid took that physical connection away from most families, but it also made us aware that some families may not have had those experiences before the pandemic. My sister and I talked about the impact that those gatherings had on us and our extended family and One Place ATL came from those conversations.”

One Place ATL is a villa-style retreat located on 40 acres in Covington, GA less than one hour outside of Atlanta. Designed with intimate gatherings in mind, each of the eight to ten villas sleeps up to six people, and are equipped with their own kitchen, pool and grill. Guests bring their own food and drink in an effort to cultivate a family-style experience. The resort is the perfect opportunity for city-dwellers to escape the sounds and stress of the metro area without a major sacrifice in their routine or schedule. The resort also provides the ambiance and activities many people have to travel out of the state to enjoy such as paddle boats, ATV rides and horseback riding. “After everything our communities have endured, especially with the economic fall-out from Covid, many families can’t afford to take three or four children to Florida or to the Bahamas. One Place ATL offers an option that is within driving distance that allows you to truly connect with each other and enjoy nature. We believe the resort will be appreciated and well-received, “Sabrina says.

He also owned popular New York-style pizza parlor, Sonz Pizza before deciding to focus totally on his entertainment company. Sabrina is a socially-connected philanthropist providing support for some of the most impactful non-profits in the country. Together, the siblings are excited to work together to deliver another successful product in One Place ATL.

The Adams’s broke ground on One Place ATL as 2021 transitioned from spring to summer. Their goal is to welcome their first guests in the summer of 2022. “This is a passion project for us, but we know their are others who share our desire to re-establish family values like loyalty, integrity, and togetherness. We’re asking the local and global community to support us with One Place ATL ,so we started a GoFund Me page to invite others to be a part of the project. When you visit the page, you feel the spirit of One Place ATL and we believe there are others that will want to share in this ultimate goal,” Mark says.
