YULradio.com (Young Urban Lifestyles) is a radio show centered on all things urban but from a woman’s perspective. Lately, the general perception of our urban youth is that of an ignorant or illiterate male/female, maybe even someone who’s not a stranger to the law. But in our actual reality, the young urban individual is self-made, maybe even an entrepreneur. The young future millionaire who owns his or her own business or working class that handles their life at a highly successful level. YUL radio is the voice of the real young urban youth and our goal is to replace this stereotypical misrepresentation.

The Young Urban Lifestyles radio show is looking for self-starters to join our growing team to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns on Radio and Digital Media. The ideal candidate is passionate about Radio and Internet media and has a knack for understanding a client’s business and expressing to them how a mix of Radio and Digital Marketing can help them be more successful.
Our environment is a collaborative one, so we are looking for aggressive team players that enjoy friendly competition. This is a work-from-home position, but we are looking for a candidate who can commute to our Atlanta studio for weekly meetings.
Responsibilities:
Outbound Client Prospecting (Cold calls, emails, setting up appointments).
Contemporary Proposal Development through the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Working with our administrative team to prepare and implement client demonstrations.
Client Account Management to guarantee long-term relationships.
Be able to manage client billing and proof of performance.
Attend sales meetings, training events, and client remote broadcasts.
Produce and schedule Advertisements.
Requirements
College education is required.
1-3 years of solid outside sales experience with a proven track record of success in calling on businesses, using the phone as a prospecting tool, presenting solutions, good business awareness, self-starter, organized, team-minded, high energy.
Excellent written, verbal and computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet etc.).
Knowledge of Christian Radio and News Talk Radio, must be able to cold call using the phone and in person to present advertising packages.
A strong understanding of lead generation.
Cultivation of long standing client relationships
Media sales background preferred, not required
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet)
This is a commission sales position.
